Sometimes it’s there, The peaceful feeling of comfort, Reassurance of love and glee. The calming effect of a storm, The smoothing effect of the sea, It comes when I lie. To calm my storm and silken my sea, At the peak of relaxation, It leaves the peace, That caresses my tension. There’s so much to ask it, For where does it lore? Will it always be there? When I lie and adore? The waves will rise, The clouds will thunder, Confusion and doubt close in, To cloud and smother. Where is my It? What is my It? Don’t ever leave me. Creating Instant Relaxation....

How can I achieve more relaxation in my daily life?
I am a total believer that we need our alone time and our recouping time. Our days are full of tending to others with little time for ourselves. It is not selfish to want to carve out some time in your day for you!! I accomplish this in several ways. I often take a bath, a ritual, if you may. I light the candles, add the scented oil and soak away my day or my worries. I indulge in a glass of wine and emerge totally stress free. I also find that when I turn everything off, and open the windows and allow the sounds of nature flow in my home, it naturally slows everything down. I also place relaxing fragrances around my house to help bring that awareness right to my nose!! Lavender is a great scent and can be placed right at the door upon entering your home. And in the bathroom, I have an orange facial hydration mist that instantly gives me a boost. The sound of water is another instant relaxation trigger. What ever works for you? Give it a try!!!
